Install Windows XP Faster

In this post I will tell you about installation of win XP in minimum time period. Normally when someone tries to install windows XP on computer, it takes around 30-40 min to complete entire setup. It is too much time to install windows setup. I will tell you a method to install windows more faster. It will take approximately 15 minutes to complete windows installation. So to install win XP in short time please follow these steps.
Power on your computer and start with bootable windows XP cd
In first step window will load installation files.
Select any drive ( C: ) for installation.
Select NTFS to format the partition.
Setup will copy files on this drive and it will try to restart PC.
After restarting when you see Xp logo, press (Shift+F10).
It will open (CMD) prompt.
In CMD prompt type (Taskmgr)
It will open task manager. Now go to “process” tab and find “Setup exe” Right click on setup.exe and select “Set priority”
You will see a submenu. Here priority will be normal. Select priority to (High) or above (Normal).

Done.


This will complete installation process much faster than the normal original time.

Difference Between TFT and LCD.

This is a common question when have been asked about several times by many people. Every body wants to know that what is the difference between a LCD and TFT. So i figured out, i should answer this question for anyone who has doubts.


LCD stands for Liquid Crystal Display... and
TFT stands for Thin Film Transistor.


TFT is not really different from LCD. It comes from the family of LCD technology. We can say that it is a modern version of the LCD Technology. A TFT provide a well improved image quality.
There are two typs of display quality. 1st one is Matty and 2nd is Grossy. Matty display is called LCD and Grossy display is called as TFT. LCD and TFT consumes less power energy as compared to CRT (Cathode ray tube).
Now a days TFT has been used for mobile phone devices, projectors, nevigation systems as well as TVs and computer monitors.

Increase Speed of Hard Disk

It is common observation that some times our computer slows down due to low performance of hard drive. This problem happens due to the slow performance or poor speed of hard drive. When we say about poor performance, actually we mean, poor speed of reading/writing of hard drive. This problem can be solved by increasing the hard drive speed. Follow these steps to solve your problem.




Click Start menu and select run.
Now type (sysedit.exe) in run and press enter.
System configuration editor will appear.
Here you can see some multiple windows but you will select (system.ini).
This window contains a line (386enh)
Now after this line type (irq14=4096)
Now close this window and save it.
Reboot your computer now.
You will surely feel better performance of your computer.

Get Back Your Recycle Bin

Recycle Bin is used to keep unnecessary files or folder. Some of my visitors asked about this problem that how they can get back their recycle bin after deleting it on windows XP.
You can use this method to get back recycle bin.

Important Note:

For this purpose you will have to modify the Registry. It is strongly recommended that if you have some basic knowledge of registry then you can try it. Otherwise some serious problems might occur if you modify the Registry incorrectly. Now let’s try it. Follow these steps carefully to edit the registry to make the Recycle Bin icon reappear on your desktop.

• Click START and then click RUN
• Now type “ regedit” and then click OK.
• Locate the following registry key
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsfot\windows\Currentversion\Explorer\Desktop\namespace 
• Right click the registry key that you located in number, Point to new and then click key.
• Now Type {645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E} and press Enter.
• After this click the new {645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E} key.
• In the right, use your mouse to double click the default entry.
• You will see a “Edit string dialog box”. Type Recycle Bin in the value data box and finally click OK.
• Now close your registry Editor and check your desktop.
• You will see recycle Bin icon on your desktop wall.

Reslove Server Security Certificate is Not Valid

Many time its happen when you install new Operating system in your desktop or laptops and then you install Browser, google chrome. After installation you try to open gmail, yahoo, or facebook in google chrome but you do not see your required page and see a message “Server Security Certificate is not yet valid”. Then you also try to open the page by clicking on “continue anyway” but the result is same.







Infect this problem occurs due to incorrect date and time of your computer. By synchronizing your system clock you can solve this problem.
I will tell you the best solution of this problem. Just follow these steps and after completion you will be able to login to facebook, yahoo, gmail etc.



Click on Start Menu and then control penal.

Open Date/Time setting

Adjust correct date and time according to your region.

Open "Internet Time Zone" tab.

Click on "Update Now" button. After clicking on button, It will start synchronzing your internet server timing.

After 7-8 seconds you will see a message, "The time has been successfully synchronized with time.windows.com on 07-07-2013 at 5:09PM.

Connect a Laptop or Desktop Computer to a TV

If  you wish to watch anything from mobile to TV but have a screen that leaves much to be desired. In such a situation, you can connect your computer to a television screen to allow your entire family to enjoy comfortably.

There are many ways in which you can connect your laptop/ computer to a television. However, the overall video quality will be different for different methods. You can choose which one to use based on the quality or the availability of hardware. The first step is to know what type of ports and connections your TV and computer have. If you already know the type of ports and connections available on your hardware, you can directly jump to Step 2. If not, then the different types of ports are explained in detail below:-

Different types of PC to TV connection ports

1) RCA/Composite: The oldest and the lowest quality connection available. They are the Yellow, Red and White connections most of us are familiar with. Yellow is used for composite video, white for left analog audio and red for right analog audio.

2) S-Video: S-Video or Super Video offers slightly better quality than Composite connections. As it is one of the oldest type of connections available, most televisions and computers have it. There are two types of S-Video ports, one containing 4 pins and the other containing 7 pins. This type of connection is used only for video. So you will need to connect an audio cable from your computer's headphone jack to the red and white audio inputs on your TV if you want audio to work.

3) VGA(Video Graphics Array): Most computers and televisions have a VGA port. It offers much better quality than S-Video and should be preferred if you have a HDTV. Older CRT TVs however, will not have a VGA port and will require a PC to Television converter. Just like S-Video, VGA also does not support audio and will require an additional audio cable.

4) DVI: Digital Video Interface offers much better quality than VGA connections. Most laptop computers and HD TVs will have these connections. Just as the name suggest, this type of connection can be used only with digital TVs. Also like the previous two, DVI connections also require the use of an audio cable for audio to work.

5) HDMI: The highest quality connections available. Most HD TVs will have this connection, however, chances are that your computer would not. If your computer happens to have a HDMI connection port, this should be preferably used. If your computer doesn't, you can use an HDMI to DVI adapter to convert HDMI to DVI. 

Step 2: Once a common type of port between the two devices is recognized, you will need the right connector cable to physically connect them. The different types of connector cables are pictured above. If you do not find two matching types of connection ports, you will need an adapter to make the connections type match.

Step 3: After connecting the two devices, on your TV, select the external input with which your TV is connected to the computer. It may be HDMI1 or AV1 depending on how you have made the connection. This is much similar to how you select input from your DVD player.

If you have followed the steps correctly, your TV should now be displaying your computer's screen.

Important: If your computer is not recognizing the external display, you must connect the TV before starting your computer. If the picture appears distorted, you will need to change the screen resolution of your TV by altering the display settings from your computer. Most older TVs will support only one display resolution while newer TVs will support plenty of them.

Hide Files or Folders Using Command Prompt

      Here is Example how its works: You have a folder named "myfile" and this folder is stored in (Disk Drive F). You think that it should not be seen by strangers who use your PC.so there is simple way just follow step



For that you need to follow the following instructions



1). Press windowkey+R: Run command dialog box appears.

2). Now type "cmd" and hit enter. A command prompt window displays.



        3).Now type "attrib +s +h F:\myfile" and hit enter.

4). The folder "myfile" will be hidden (Note: It cannot be viewed by any search options)


Remember :- To view this folder again, use the same command but replace '+' with '-' on both flags 's' and 'h')

Create Folders And Files Without Name

Here you will know  to create files and folders without any name.

Just follow the steps as given below :-

1) Select any file or folder.

2) Right click on it, select 'Rename' or simply press 'F2'.

3) Press and hold the 'Alt' key. While holding the Alt key, type numbers '0160' from the numpad.



Note :- Type the numbers '0160' from the numpad, that is, the numbers present on the right side of the keyboard.
Don’t type the numbers which are present on top of the character keys.

4) Press Enter and the nameless file or folder will be created.



Reason :- The file or folder that seems nameless is actually named with a single space.

But what if you want to create another nameless file or folder in the same directory ?
For this you will have to rename the file with 2 spaces.
Just follow the steps given below :-

1) Select file, Press 'F2'.

2) Hold 'Alt' key and type '0160' from the numpad.

3) Release the 'Alt' key. Now without doing anything else, again hold 'Alt' key and type '0160'.

4) Press 'Enter' and you will have second nameless file in the same directory.

5) Repeat step 3 to create as many nameless files or folders in the same directory.

(We have a problem with deleting these folders, to do so, start your computer in 'Safe Mode' and delete it from there.)

Change AM and PM Displayed Text

Change “AM” and “PM” Displayed Text To another text like "ante meridian" and "post meridian"




Start you for funny changing your change:-

1. Go To Start Menu.

2. Click Control Panel

3. Open Regional & Language Options

4. Go To Regional Options Tab

5. Click Customize Button

6. Go To Time Tab

and type in AM Symbol like "Ante Meridian" and PM Symbol box ante Post Meridian"
